The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Monday, postponed the launch of the “CREW 6” mission to the International Space Station, and Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi was on board this flight.

With about two minutes remaining on the countdown clock, the launch was canceled due to a problem detected with TEA-TEB ignition fluid, which is used to ignite the engines of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at liftoff.

And NASA announced, in a tweet on its official page, that the flight was postponed, noting that the reason was due to a problem in the ground systems of the “Falcon 9” missile, while the astronauts were sitting inside the capsule.

“Today’s launch of the ‘Crew6’ mission has been delayed due to an issue with Earth systems. Get ready for details on the new launch date and time,” the NASA tweet read.

The second launch attempt is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th at 1:22 a.m. ET.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon capsule were supposed to lift off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 1:45 a.m. ET on Monday, but the clock was stopped by engineers overseeing ground systems with two and a half minutes remaining.

Just. Al-Neyadi had written on his official page on Twitter before announcing the postponement of the flight: “On this earth, God entrusted everyone who loved and set off into space. Al Neyadi.
