Hemp: an alternative to traditional brick and concrete?

In 2010, Elad Kaspin decided to travel around the world, after he got tired of living in Israel, describing life there as complicated.

“I knew I didn’t want to live there, even though I had a good life and income,” says computer engineer Caspin.

After two years of traveling he arrived at Colos, the village between the towns of Odemira and Ourique in southern Portugal.

The young man liked the place so much that he decided to settle there.

He says that he is not the only one who decided to migrate there.

Rather, the region has witnessed in recent years a wave of immigrants, attracted by the plains, vast areas, stunning scenery, a quiet lifestyle, beautiful weather, and cheap real estate.
